I see any mental suffering and “Mental Illness” as simply a diversion from the natural mental health you are born with. Your natural mental health is the “default setting,” any “illness” or suffering is simply “offline” from that health.
I will help you rediscover your innate mental health through an understanding of three basic principles (Mind, Consciousness & Thought) that show how mental clarity, wellbeing, wisdom and resilience are accessible 24/7.
My job is to help you understand these principles in a way that is relevant and meaningful to you. When you have your own insights into these basic facts, you can:

- Rise above merely “coping” with symptoms and truly thrive

Being a principle-based rather than theory-based counselor allows me to get to the most elemental level of how the human mind works. This frees me from having to listen through the lens of diagnoses or problems. Counseling Clients tell me how much they appreciate the fact that I listen deeply to them as human beings and not to a category or diagnosis. When people feel heard and respected, they tend to calm down. From a calm mind and understanding of the three principles they access their wisdom and have insights that are at least helpful and at best life changing.
